Lock and Load....
Today Im heading out to the course for some much needed golf practice. I have a new driver that Im trying to master. My Taylor Made 5 wood is what Ive used for years, and I hit that thing far and straight, no slicing or hooking! Thank God! For some reason Im able to hit the mens clubs further than my Ladies Clubs. All I know is that the Pro's that taught me in High School had told me that I could play pro if I practiced. I was able to play off the men's tees and Par the course. That always ticked the boys golf team off, and I LOVED it. hehe. So, thats it, I played varsity womens golf in high school and managed the mens team. How did I get into golf? Well, its silly, but Ill admit it, I was 16, liked a guy who played golf, so I figured Id learn. Little did I know it would be so darn natural for me and Id be so good at it. Took maybe 7 lessons and the season started, made varsity golf, went to the state championships and senior year I was number one varsity.
I also like to shoot and after the range today Im going to check into some of the local shooting ranges, I miss doing this alot and want to sharpen my skills. Here in Virginia you can carry with a permit. I like that idea. But you see, I dont come from a typical family, I learned to shoot and make ammo at a young age, try like 4. I really miss it and I need to get back into practice, only problem is hubby wasnt raised with guns and he wont let me have one in the house, darn the luck. I WAS RAISED with them and I know the rules. Guns are nothing to mess with, they are deadly, but it just means following safety precautions. All I know is that if my sister and I even pretended to act like we were pointing a weapon at someone we got whipped with a belt, there is no room for playing with guns. For me, I plan on adding them to my books, my characters will lock and load, and I need to be up to date on what I will make them carry. As a writer, I have to experience things to write about them. Does that apply to the sex scenes? Ummmmmm......nope, Im creative with that, but, hmmmmm that would be nice but metaphysical sex is kinda hard to do if your partner isnt metaphysical or telpathic.....ahhhhh..a spolier for some. Im bringing these two subjects up becasue last night I dreamed of my father, its been a few years since he has died and often when I dream of him, its a sign for me to do what I dreamed of. I asked for guidance and I got it. Some people dont believe in this stuff, but Im not average, never have been. I never will be normal, us writers never are average......THANK GOD!
