Busy

Im sorry I havent posted much lately, shame on me! Ive had alot going on and between nursing school, a major car accident where I totalled my husbands car and hurt my back, and having surgery on Fri Jan 26, Ive been wiped out. I am starting to feel better though and thank God for that. Ive made the decision that after I finish my nightly nursing homework, Ill write a min of 2-4 pages. Im aiming for 3, but I'd like to give myself some room so I dont panic. Relaxation is the name of the game

I have a few small publishers who are interested in my book and Im thrilled about it, but its difficult to think everything through and make a good business decision. I eventually want this to be a fulltime career, but in the mean time, I need a good profession that puts food on the table, henceforth nursing. I am doing a RN or registered nursing program and it ISNT EASY!!! Nursing school is rough, demanding, stressful, and all of the above plus some. But for me, I love to help heal someone and I LOVE the mystery of finding out what is wrong with the person. Thats probabally becasue in each of my books for the Envisioner Series, its a mystery. I need some excitement!

I want to thank the ladies of Chesapeake Romance Writers. They are very smart, kind, and resourceful. When I needed some kind words of encouragement, they were there to help. Thankyou to everyone for helping me and making me feel welcome, and above all thanks for making me feel as if Im a best selling writer. Ya'll rule! Thanks Cairde. We have our meeting Saturday morning and Ill make sure I tell everyone thankyou.

So, this weekend, its study time for my second Fundamentals of Nursing test and between studying, Ill work on Incubus Illusions or Book Two. I just need to get the first draft done and then I can delete or add or change and I wont feel so bad. I have about 100 pages done so far. I always try and start a new chapter when I finish a book so Im not staring at a blank screen months later when I sit and try to write. Some authors do things differently than I do but to each their own. Go with what works for you.

As a final note, I have two things going on. Barnes and Noble (one of the many local branches) has asked me to faciliate their local writers group once a week, so Ill do that as long as its not a Mon or Tuesday night becasue of Nursing clinicals. Secondly, Im trying very badly to lose weight. For those of you who dont know me too personally, Im very heavy due to mostly medical problems related to my thyroid and diabeties, Ive dealt with weight my entire life and my husband has promised me that when I lose 50 pounds he will give me adult irish dancing lessons. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE Irish dance and saw Lord of the Dance on monday night......my review.....awesome....wonderful..do it again and again and again....made me want to get up and dance but then again I am Irish....oh yeah and scottish.....OH and the other part of me is all Viking. But then again the Viking's settled in Ireland and Scotland so who knows. I know the name of the village in Ireland and the names and etc that my family were born and died in.....our next trip will be late fall 2008 to Ireland and Scotland and you can bet your life Im doing family research and research for my next books.

Slainte Cairde!

Better

Things are slowly returning to normal here after the car accident. I did hurt my lower back and it's getting better. I've been busy with nursing school. There is always something I have to read for school and my mind has been full of ideas for books.

I'm waiting for an editor I will be working will to send me some editing suggestions for Guilty From Beyond The Grave. We will be working together to polish the book and if things go well, she will hopefully buy the book. This publisher isnt one of the huge publishers, but they are growing, Romance Writers of America acknowledges them, and they do pay advances. I'm willing to work with her (the senior editor) to polish the manuscript for publication. I've had an in depth conversation with her and she explained the process of editing and what steps we would go through after I have made all the editing changes. All I know is that I'm willing to work on the script and with the editor. I believe in it and the future story line so much that I'll do what it takes to polish it.

She said she would have the editoral suggestions to me by the end of January. I'm waiting for them and in the mean time Im busy with nursing school. Being an RN will keep me busy. Friday I'm having outpatient surgery, and my doctor said he may have to make a five inch vertical incision on my abdomen. I'm kind of nervous about the incision, but if it solves the problem then it will be worth it. Wish me luck!

Slainte!

Accident

I had a car accident on late Wednesday afternoon and totalled one of our vehicles. I feel terrible about it and thank God noone was hurt. My back is sore and I do ache pretty bad, but time will help. The accident scared me becasue I had never been involved in an accident and both airbags in my vehicles deployed, scaring me to death.

Happy 2007!!!!

It has been brought to my attention that some of my readers many wish me harm and may want to utulize my names for my books. This is very discoraging to me becasue I have spend numberous amounts of time developing names and plot ideas. The information I provide you is spoliler information so that you may have a generaly idea when the series is headed. Please be honest and trustworthy and do not copy my ideas. There is a copyright on them.

I have so many hope for the year. First of all for those of you who dont know, I started a registered nursing program RN) today. I will graduate in Oct 2008 and will be a RN, then I hope to go on and earn a masters of sceience in nurse practioer and become a certified nurses practioner or certified midwife. I hope to work in OR, L&D, or Psych. This will in no way prevent me from writing. I have plotted numerous books and one will surprised you becasue it it mainlu fantasy and not the paranormal I write.

About the Books......

My goal is to add more romace and fantasy, writer better, and also writer contemporary. I would also like to beome more involved in RWA (Romance Writers of America) and CRWA or (Chesapeake Romance Writers Writers) The ladies from CHRWA are wonderful and I love all of them!!! Denise Jefferies, Judi McCody, Donna Schmidt, Michelle Williamgham are all great!

Im still waiting for Guilty From Beyond the Grave to be published. I have an agent and five publisgers who are interesred in it. Just tosee my book in print and know my fellow romance writers can read it would be awesome.

As of right now: The Envisioner Series will include:
Guilty From Beyond The Grave )book One)
Incubus Illusions (Book Two)
A supernatural kind of Love (book THree)
A centuries Old LOve (Book Four)
Magickally Bound (Book Five)
Forbidden Celtic Love (Book Six)
Irish Bewitching (Book Seven)
More books to follow in the series.....

Other titles Individual Books:
Ghostly Whippers, Magickally Whispers. Forbideen Celtic love,

The End Times Trillogy: The End Times :The Revelational Revealed
The End Times : The Survivial of the Fittest
The End Times: New Beginning (the Final Book)

Faery Series:

I have a love of the faery world and my version of faery;s are quite differnt from most if you have read Guilty From Befound the Grave and especially Incubus Illusions. This is will be a very unique and spell bounding story which mixes humans and of course my signature mark paranormal elements and ghosts. Im excited to begin this series.

And last but not least, I have ideas for paranormal erotica and contemporary which will involve centuries old true legneds.

I hope this helps for now.

My goal is that after my extensive nursing homework is done to write 2 pages towards my new book daily even on weekends. A writer needs to progress and move on. On breaks Ill write ALOT more.

Slainte!!! and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007...May all your wishes materalize!!!
