Ideas

Saturday at the conference, one of the speakers said something that triggered a major idea on my part. That idea simmered in my mind for awhile and I had to implement it into the book. Basically, I redirected the beginning. Im very pleased with the introduction and I think it really stands out. I have alot of work to do becasue I want this to be perfect.

Today, Im editing a wee bit and working on rewriting my synposis. I was requested to write a bit on my other book ideas. I have four plots sitting in my mind. Book four doesnt have a title yet, but I have the idea. Books two and three do have their titles. Im always getting new ideas and I have notebooks filled with character design, settings, and plots. I have four components that I want in each book. 1. Mystery 2. Romance 3. A metaphysical lesson 4. Action

I'll close for now. I hope everyone voted. Your voted DO make a difference. Here in Virginia, the senate race is close, by 3,000 votes. The sentae is 49 seats republican and 49 seats for the democarats. My point is simply that voting is a priviledge and many people have died for this priviledge, we need to honor that and VOTE!!!

Conference

Saturday was the writing conference and I really enjoyed it. I had alot of fun with my fellow writers from Chesapeake Romance Writers. Im hoping to be able to go to the Romantic Times Convention in Dallas in July and to the Romance Writers of America convention this summer. I had appointments with an editor, agent, and publisher and everyone was interesed in my manuscript. Keep your fingers crossed that someone wants it. I had an idea for a new introduction to Guilty From Beyond the Grave. Im going to write it this afternoon and prepare the manuscript to send to everyone. I also need to send it to Romance Writers of America for the Golden Hearts contest. Im keeping my fingers crossed there!

CRW Dinner

Ive spent the day editing and Im happy with the changes Ive implemented. I need to get off of the computer and get ready for a dinner I have tonight with my fellow members of Chesapeake Romance Writers and some of the agents and editors that will be at the conference tommorrow. Gotta meet them!

Writing Conference

Saturday will be a busy day for me. I have a writing conference to attend and later that evening I have three appointments to pitch my book, Guilty From Beyond the Grave. Ive been working on it again, polishing it. Im happy with the change in the beginning that I made. Now, Im just polishing it. For now. So, Saturday, I meet with two editors and one agent. I have made the decision to stand with my heavy fanatsy/horror background mixed with heavy romance. I like the mix. I like the supernatural things I write about. I love the steamy sexy and romance.
