Query Letters

Ive been spedning days working on the query letters. I have completly revised them and am trying a new way, maybe it will work better. I am soooooooooooooo excited about this book and I wish someone would see this and give me a chance. I worked hard on this story and did a lot of research. I would do it all over again too if I had to, it was a good experience and I enjoyed writing my book.

Writers Workshop

I attended a lovely workshop yesterday. I am so thankful I got my butt up early and went to the workshop. I learned how to be creative, how to harness my creativity and how to make it productive. I also learned about the publishing industry. Overall, I had a nice time, a few of the guys from my writing group were there so we all ate lunch together and talked about writing and publishing. I had a fun afternoon, writing is where I belong.

Denial

Well, the rejection letters keep comming. I know every writer gets them, but still when you see them they can be discouraging. Publish America said they would publish my book, but they retain the rights for 7 years and the prob with them is that the big book sellers wont buy books from them becasue they cant return print on demand books. What is that all about??? So technically a publisher did accept my book. Im trying to keep the spirit up. Tommorrow is a writing seminar and its called the Complete Writer, so Im hoping to get some feedback or learn something that will help my writing improve. Ill post more later.......

Start of Book Two

Just a quick note to state that I've started the first chapter or book two and am feeling my way through it. I have my outline and will work through that. I'm excited to write this book, I have alot of hope for it.
